Inspired by the Genie lamp, Carsten Jorgenson of Bodum designed this piece over eight years ago. Naoko is chic, whimsical, and very functional. Under the lid, with its stay cool rubberized knob, is an infusing basket. The dramatically arching handle has an ergonomic design that enables you to pour with ease. Arty and hip, this pot reminds some of a mouse, some of a genie’s lamp and some of Bauhaus era objects. Once the tea brews for the recommended time, merely remove the basket, replace the lid, and pour. The pot holds approximately 32 ounces of beverage, enough for four 8-ounce cups of tea, and measures 6-1/2 by 8 by 10-1/2 inches (W x H x D). Genie not included

The Naoko teapot was lovely, but your teas were exceptional!
My mother loves her new teapot! Thanks for getting it to her so fast.
After a lot of debate as to whether we should buy a cheaper teapot from the local grocery store, or invest in one of these, we eventually decided to give Bodum a try, primarily for its looks. We couldn't have been happier with our purchase. The product was delivered on time (actually, within two days) and it came with a sample of American Breakfast tea (delicious, btw). The infuser basket is super easy to remove and clean. Overall 5/5 - an excellent buy that should last forever.
A real must-have for the serious tea lover. Great for throwing a tea party and impressing your friends! I know mine were :)
If you are buying this teapot purely for its looks, you will be please to know it also works very very well. I've been using mine heavily for a few months now and couldnt imagine life without it. i am thinking about purchasing one just for when I travel. Bodum really makes some gorgeous stuff.
I own a lot of teapots and the Bodum Naoko is my new favorite. Brews very well, no leaks, just super!
Received Naoko as a gift, and absolutely love it. The design alone is worth the price.
