Aah, decadence. No, we do not mean degenerate moral decay. Sipping this tea is decadence of an entirely different sort — pure, luxurious self-indulgence. Each delicate, young bud is carefully plucked at dawn while still encased in a layer of dew. After plucking, they are left to dry in the sun for just the right length of time before they are ever-so-gently rolled in cloth to form these beautiful silver needles. Then they are dried some more. Because of the extremely delicate conditions under which this tea must be hand-crafted, supply is naturally limited. This is definitely not your every-day tea; so please use sparingly on special occasions. Remember: never use boiling water with white tea. Let the water cool down after it comes to a boil.

White tea is definitely not for everyone - some find them to be too bland or lacking in flavor. Which means you have not been drinking the good stuff. I found Simple Leaf''''s Decadence to be full of flavor and sweet, even drinking it iced on a couple of occasions, though I prefer it hot. I made sure the water was just warm (not too hot) and infused for a total of about 5 minutes (it does need that little extra time to fully infuse , you can watch the water change color as it does so). Highly recommended.
This tea came as part of a "Surprise Me" sampler I order. What a pleasant surprise! The tea is just beautiful to look at, luring you even before you smell the dry leaves and drink the tea. Drinking this tea was a wonderful experience. The taste is subtle, yet complex. Thank you for choosing to include such a wonderful tea.
The new batch of Decadence is delicious. I loved the last set, with its huge leaves, but this is much better.
Loved Decadence! Very calming and almost sweet.
This is a good darjeeling tea - I was hesitant at first, because it was a little too light for my liking. but i'm enjoying it more and more everyday.
a good tea, but a little too light for my taste. i prefer something with more pronounced flavors.
I was very pleased with how beautiful the leaves are. The tea itself is excellent. Very light, faint fruitiness. I usually like light teas in the evenings after work, so I've been brewing this regularly now. Thanks
very mild liquor - good flavor - long leaves.
once again, i am hooked. i didn't know teas could taste this good. i am a new fan of darjeeling teas. thanks
Not much can be said, other than WOW!
Pure Decadence is the most exquisite white tea I have ever tried. Kudos!
I am not sure which one I love more - Oodles o Needles or Decadence. They're both awesome. Decadence is very light - and I would recommend brewing it for longer if you desire a little strength. the flavor is outstanding and unlike any tea i have ever tried before. the leaves look great and you can tell they are hand picked and not processed (chopped) at all. overall an excellent buy
A real treat - this is a delicious white tea.
Just received Pure Decadence as a surprise gift from my husband. It's wonderful!!! Thank you so much (to you and my husband!)
Richly deserving of it's title, this is really terrific tea. I found it to be quite smooth and refreshing. Perfect! Thanks.
I am truly impressed by this white tea. The leaves are beautiful to look at. When I pour the hot water over them, the leaves just unfurl and release a lovely aroma. You don't need to add too many leaves in order to enjoy this tea. I prefer it to be very light, so I just add a pinch of tea leaves per cup of tea. You can infuse this tea about three or four times and not lose any of the flavor. A lovely find!
It's a pleasure to sip Pure Decadence in the evenings. I love watching the leaves brew slowly. I infuse it for about a minute in hot water, although the directions say 7 minutes. I like how its a light color. Very soothing indeed.
Really yum. I still can't get over the size of the leaves. It's a pleasure to brew.
I was struck by how quickly my tea reached me. This is super fast service. The white tea is really wonderful, and highly recommended as a gift item.
A great treat. Thank you.
I got this as a gift, and love it. The leaves look so pretty.
I love it. It's extremely light and smooth and feels really great in the evenings. Highly recommended.
Make sure you brew it for at least 7 minutes like it says on the bag. The color of this white tea is a pale, pleasant off-white. A very nice tea indeed. DO NOT use boiling water, as it will ruin this rather expensive tea.
What a wonderful tea this was. I enjoyed every sip and will be ordering more shortly.
amazing tea. i've never had anything like it before.
I have never seen such a beautiful sight as these infused leaves in a glass teapot. The liquor is subtle and no milk and sugar needed. I love it.
a nice aftertaste, and a light colored tea. i love the leaves. they look so inviting
A bit expensive perhaps, but well worth it.
I had never had white tea before. However, after trying it I am hooked. It is a great tea to have late in the evening. It has a very delicate flavor and be sure to follow the instructions on the box (ie, don't use boiling water!).
another fine offering. great job!
I tried this tea yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I had tasted other white teas and nothing comes close to the delicate flavor of this Darjeeling white tea.
enjoy in small quantities. very light. the price is definitely decadent.
