Chloe

Organic Indian Green Tea, Pussimbing, Darjeeling

Chloe is grown at an altitude of over 5,000 feet on the organic Pussimbing Tea Estate. If you are used to popular green teas from China and Japan, you should add Darjeeling to your list of teas to try. The region offers a different twist to typical green teas, and Chloe is our favorite example. Light, smooth and refreshing, these gorgeous large leaves make a mellow liquor that is perfect for late afternoon sipping. Subtle hints of fruit and freshly cut grass give this tea a remarkable flavor. Remember: never use boiling water or milk with green tea as they will ruin the flavor. Let the water cool down a bit after it comes to a boil. Suitable for hot or iced tea.

Pussimbing Estate is Certified Bio-Organic.

I’m not a “green tea drinker”

Aug 14, 2008 by: Summer Plum, Charlotte, NC 5

and I have somehow found myself having Chloe as my morning tea more days then not. My first thought, with my first sip of this tea, was a wide-eyed, "THIS is what green tea should taste like!" I just adore it.

yummy!

delicious tea. need more.

A hint of sweetness

May 22, 2007 by: Alec 5

This has got to be one of the finest green teas to ever come out of India. It's got a definite Darjeeling feel to it, but its ever so sweet. The freshness hits you as soon as you open the pouch. Nice touch on the resealable pouches, btw.

Careful with water temperature

Don't use boiling water for Chloe. It's -very- delicate and will turn bitter fast if you pour boiling water on it. I ruined my first batch like this. On my second attempt, I boiled the water, let it cool for about two minutes and then brewed the tea for about a minute. The result was fabulous. A very smooth green tea. High marks for flavor, freshness and packaging.

I'm totally addicted to Chloe. This is a wonderful green tea. I like the others as well, but this one is by far my favourite tea. I'll be ordering this monthly!

Light and flavourful green tea

Oct 31, 2006 by: Jobin 5

I'm usually not a big fan of green tea, but decided to give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the light flavor. Not as grassy as most green teas. I put a dollop of honey in it, and it was absolutely delicious. I found that I could infuse it gong fu style for at least three infusions.

Nice tea!

This is a nice introduction to green tea for someone who is interested in trying green tea. Overall, well worth the buy.

Great tea!

This is one smooth green tea. I absolutely love the aftertaste. Not too earthy like other green teas - a very delicate flavor. Highly recomment it to anyone interested in trying a slightly different green tea.

Green tea at its finest

Another great Indian green

I'm something of a green tea lover, and this, along with Viva en verde were absolutely delicious. I think I might switch over from Chinese green teas to Indian. This is really quite a find. If I can save money to go to Darjeeling, I will have to visit the Snowview estate. Well done Simple Leaf!

A really good green tea

I was pleasantly surprised by this green tea. I usually drink Chinese green teas. Chloe was of really good quality, and very fresh. The flavor is very light.
